Step One: Complete the DRC New Student Application - Once you have submitted the application you will receive a confirmation email. If you choose to enter a personal email below, be sure to check your Spam folder for the confirmation if it does not appear in your inbox.
Step Two: Provide Documentation of Disability - Review the
Documentation Guidelines/Verification Form for information on acceptable documentation. Documentation can be uploaded with the application, through the link provided in the confirmation email, or dropped off/emailed to DRC offices.
Once your documentation is reviewed you will be contacted by DRC staff. If documentation is sufficient, we will schedule you for an Intake meeting to develop a plan for academic accommodations.
Following the Intake meeting, you will complete an Information Session to electronically sign agreements and request accommodations for each course. You will learn the how to utilize each approved accommodation and the importance of self-advocacy.
Registration Agreement:
- I understand that I will not be eligible for accommodations if I do not provide documentation of a diagnosed disability, do not have a diagnosed disability, or do not follow Disability Resource Center (DRC) policies and procedures.
- I understand that my accommodations will not be in effect until I have completed an intake interview with DRC staff, acknowledged accommodation agreements, and notified my instructors through the DRC Portal.
